So.... There is a full moon tonight... (7.31.15) A "Blue Moon".... These only occur every two to three years. Usually.
The last being 2012 and the next being 2018.
So, cool! A Blue Moon tonight.
Also a payday, for us....
It being a payday we stock up on needs and supportive supplements.... Like alcohol.
So...
We're in a dead zone right now. A place where.... Well it's very backward.
No Chase banks... At all...
No Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Fresh Market...
No farmers markets... Well....... No.... Occasionally some tomatoes, watermelon or peaches on the side of the road, but.... No, not a farmers market...
No Publix, Vonns, Ralphs, Gelsons... Not even a Kroger!
No Cheesecake Factory...
No Dominos...
Barely even any vegetarian food brands in the grocery stores!
And what you do find is outrageously expensive!
No Total Wine & More.
Just none of the big chain stores or brands we shop at. Just WALMART! (X) (we don't shop there!!!)
So deep within the jungle of this dead zone... Is where we've been for the past month. In a secret garden, a temple, a holy place. A place of rest and refuge. A place of great majik and angels.
Our campervan bus was born from this place.
And while she has grown stronger and stronger with each passing week, we still had no name for her.
Until today.
So we took her shopping to gather dog food, cat food, and people food, and a bottle of tequila.
I went into the small (small!) local liquor store and quickly see the Cuervo. But we don't drink Cuervo anymore. I really didn't think I'd find a real tequila made from 100% Agave. But there was this one bottle. And only one bottle. It was reasonably priced considering it was real tequila and where I was.
So we get back to our spot... unload our treasures... put things away and settle in for a snack of buffalo cheddar popcorn and a soda... But first...!
I crack open the tequila and pour just a baby shot in a couple of glasses for me and Ab to celebrate and bless our future in the spirit of the Full Blue Moon tonight!
I noticed a wolf's head on the top of the lid and thought it was cool! I said, "Abi, its a sign!"
And THEN I noticed the name of the tequila.....
Lunazul !
It means Blue Moon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our campervan bus's name is now Lunazul. The van is white and blue!
now that's some STRANGE MAJIK!
